Scott Wiener, MD

Dr Wiener is passionate about caring for patients with kidney stone disease and enlarged prostate. He specializes in the care of patients with large stones and/or complex anatomy including ultrasound guided percutaneous renal access. He is pleased to offer Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate for patients with enlarged prostates. 

Dr Wiener's clinical and research interests include nephrolithiasis and benign prostatic hyperplasia. He is the founding member of the Prostate Enucleation Collaborative, a research and advocacy group comprised of young Endourologists across the United States and Canada. Areas of active research include the use of stone targeting microbubbles for the treatment of nephrolithiasis and quality improvement in HoLEP. His research interests also include the pathophysiology of kidney stone disease, particularly from the perspective of comparative and evolutionary biology.
