PATIENT RATING
CLINICAL BACKGROUND AND MY APPROACH TO CARE
About 50 million people suffer from epilepsy and there is still a great disparity in healthcare delivery of patients with epilepsy worldwide. Even among medical practitioners, there is still a fear and lack of skill in diagnosing and properly managing epilepsy. Access to proper diagnostic modalities and expert care is lacking in many communities even in developed countries. My goal is to educate future physicians in the care of patients with epilepsy using advanced diagnostic modalities and state-of-the-art care.
