DELTA: Does Embolization with Larger coils lead to better Treatment of Aneurysms trial

What is the purpose of the study? (in Layman's terms, please describe the study)

The DELTA study is a full study with a pilot portion that is set up to assess the feasibility of filling the aneurysm with platinum coils. This research is being done to test the effectiveness of a new type of coil of 15-caliber, approved by the FDA and Health Canada.
