Capacity Strengthening in Ecuador: Partnering to improve surveillance of febrile vector-borne
diseases

What is the purpose of the study? (in Layman's terms, please describe the study)

The overall objective of this proposal is to begin collecting information on how dengue viruses normally change over time in humans and mosquitoes in Machala, Ecuador. The study team will collect this information by studying people who are infected with dengue and studying the people and mosquitoes living near these people.
