CLINICAL BACKGROUND AND MY APPROACH TO CARE

I direct the Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Program at University Hospital. I consult on patients with a variety of movement disorders: Parkinsonism, dystonia, chorea, tics, myoclonus, gait disorders and restless legs syndrome. I evaluate possible candidates for surgical treatment of movement disorders and manage the stimulators in patients that had Deep Brain Stimulation.

I was sent to the lab for some bloodwork. I wasn't quite sure the reason.but I didn't question the decision, so I'm sure that the doctor thought that I understood.
