Oral Presentation Abstract Submission Deadline is Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022.
Poster Presentation Abstract Submission Deadline is Wednesday, March 16th, 2022.

In order to have your abstract considered for an oral presentation, you must submit your abstract by Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022.
Upstate Educational Communications offers you help to create a good quality poster. This is recommended for anyone not familiar with poster design and layout. More details will be outlined in your confirmation email. Please indicate if you need help with designing a poster:
One student whose research demonstrates consideration of civic engagement, interprofessional education, inclusiveness, innovation, and fairness will be awarded a cash prize of $250. Please indicate if your research reflect any of the above goals:
Abstract Information

Guidelines for Submitting an Abstract:

  • The student submitting an abstract should be listed as first author.
  • A student can only be listed as first author on one abstract.
  • All contributors, including the principal investigator/mentor, must be listed as an author on the abstract.
  • Authors should be listed in the following format: LastName, FirstName then separated by semi-colons.
  • Affiliations of all authors should be listed as well.
  • Abstracts must be formatted in Arial, Size 10 Font in a Microsoft Word Document. (No PDFs will be accepted)
  • Abstracts should be no more than 350 words.
  • Abstracts should briefly state the study’s objective, methods used, summarize the results, and state the conclusions.
  • All submissions must include a faculty advisor, mentor or PI who oversaw your project or this submission.
