The goal of the Career Development Office is to provide comprehensive support to graduate students through regular and special programming as well as individualized career coaching. Partnering with faculty, administrators, alumni, and employers to create a diverse team of professionals that can provide students with the knowledge necessary for their careers.

Career Coaching

An opportunity for you the student, to discuss career plans (or lack thereof), review your resume, learn how to write a cover letter, practice interviewing, develop a networking strategy, walk through what to expect in a salary negotiation, or discuss any other career-related topic.

It’s important for all our students to have the opportunity to network with employers and alumni. We do this through:

The Career Development Office provides workshops to help students navigate career topics such as:

  • Salary Negotiations
  • Career Searching
  • Networking
  • LinkedIn

Employer and Employment Opportunities

An important goal for the Career Development Office is to provide responsive services to our employers to help meet their recruiting needs; opportunities for enhancing brand awareness and recruitment include:

  • On-campus information sessions
  • Participation on relevant panels and events
  • Opportunity to share job postings
