Description of Research Project: My goal is to understand the mechanisms that promote regenerative wound healing and to apply these findings not only to the cornea, but to other models of fibrotic disease. We do translational work at Bernstein lab, Centre for vision research.

Favorite thing about SUNY Upstate: The University is home to many International students. I love the diversity of research and labs.

Favorite thing about Syracuse or Central New York: I love hiking and kayaking at Green Lake State park. It is home to many natural parks and waterfalls.

What I do for fun: Kayaking, playing badminton and cafe hoping.
