Description of Research Project:
I study the effects of fetal alcohol exposure on neuronal migration, dendritogenesis, axonal outgrowth and neurogenesis in the developing cortex as disruptions have been implicated in many neurologic disorders including intellectual disability, autism, and epilepsy.

Favorite thing about SUNY Upstate:
The collaborative community.

Favorite thing about Syracuse or Central New York:
The diversity, from landscapes, to four seasons to diverse restaurants and markets.

What I do for fun: Hiking, reading, spending time with family.
