Description of Research Project:
My research focuses on understanding how dengue virus immunity change over time after natural infection and vaccination.

Favorite thing about SUNY Upstate:
The close-knit community and the supportive environment from faculty members and other staffs. The faculty members here are genuinely interested in training well-rounded students and provide avenue for a work-life balance.

Favorite thing about Syracuse or Central New York:
The distinct and vibrant change in season. It is very pleasant to watch as the season progresses from the beautiful colors of Fall to snowy winter and a burst of renewal in spring with flowers blooming. CNY is a place where you can truly appreciate the passage of time and the beauty of nature's transformation. There are also numerous state parks which are perfect destination for weekend getaways for outdoor activities especially in summer.

What I do for fun: I find joy in the simple pleasures of life: binge-watching my favorite shows (kdrama), kayaking on calm waters, a walk in the park or by the lake side, a good book, a cozy blanket, and a cup of coffee.
