Symptoms of Short Bowel Syndrome are complex and varied, but generally include the following:

• Diarrhea
• Poor weight gain and growth
• Vomiting
• Abdominal distention
• Feeding difficulties
• Fever
• Central line infection/occlusion
• Ostomy problems (ie prolapsed, bleeding)
