In light of the continued spread of COVID-19, and with the utmost respect, care and concern for our volunteers, Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital has decided to temporarily suspend ALL volunteers from service across our campuses (& outpatient sites) effective Monday, March 16 2020 at 4pm, until further notice.
The Upstate Foundation raises over $2 million annually to support sick and injured children cared for at Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital. Donations come from lemonade stands, birthdays, individual gifts, community events, local retailers selling icons, tribute gifts, bequests and corporate sponsorships, as well the yearly Radiothon. Money raised goes to support patient comfort items, family needs, the school room, the family resource library, special equipment, clinical research, and programs that would not be available without private funding, such as the important Child Life program.
There are many ways to show your support and appreciation. You can offer your time, energy, or money – all of which help us improve the health of our regional community. If you would like to make a donation or are thinking about hosting a community event benefiting the children’s hospital, you can learn more by calling the Upstate Foundation at 315 464-4416 or email FDN@upstate.edu.
For information on item donations please visit our Donations and Support page in our Child Life Program.
