Helping Hands

The Community Free Clinic needs all types of helping hands to provide these much-needed services in our Southern Tier area. If you can spare at least 5-10 hours a month, you can make a significant difference in the quality of someone's life. The Free Clinic needs volunteers who can register patients, type labels, make copies, and help with filing.

We always need more helping hands in our clinic pharmacy. Volunteers can help with the logging and sorting of donated drug samples, disposing of expired drugs, and assisting the pharmacist in filling prescriptions. State law allows the Free Clinic to accept medications from pharmaceutical representatives and local medical practices. Unfortunately, medication donations from private individuals cannot be accepted.

Are you a licensed medical professional? Have you recently retired? Have you been looking for a way to give back to your community? The Free Clinic has a continuous need for doctors, registered nurses, nurse practioners, physician assistants, and phlebotomists.
