Volunteer Opportunities

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, some community engagement opportunities will be limited this academic year. Our CCE staff members and Service Learning Leaders are working with our community partners to ensure adequate COVID-19 protocols are in place and being followed as well as our community partner’s capacity for accepting student volunteers. Current service programs are posted to our Noblehour platform at www.noblehour.com/upstatemedicaluniversity.

In addition, this Blackboard site serves as a resource to anyone interested in becoming engaged in the community or wanting to learn more about advocacy and ongoing social justice efforts.

All students participating in Center for Civic Engagement programs are required to complete an orientation and an appointment letter and abide by the volunteer guidelines and the Code of Conduct. Completed appointment letters can be sent to engage@upstate.edu.
