Vision

The Community Engaged Learning Program advances the mission of the Norton College of Medicine by fostering meaningful connections and engagement opportunities to enhance student learning outcomes while improving the health of the communities we serve.

Mission

The Community Engaged Learning Program promotes and supports a commitment to active citizenship and social responsibility through service, education, and leadership. By harnessing the College’s diverse academic resources and expertise, the program ensures that medical students and faculty are provided with learning experiences and opportunities that contribute to stronger, healthier communities.

  • Scholarship and Service: Application of knowledge and expertise to real-world problems which contribute to meaningful societal change.
