Emergency Operations Plan

An Emergency Operations Plan is a procedural document that contains disaster response plans and policies which assist the organization in applying the "All Hazards" approach in emergency management. Emergency Operations Plans are available to Upstate Medical University and Hospital staff in both paper and electronic formats. These documents contain detailed plans addressing the steps to be taken during specific emergencies.

Plans define the roles and responsibilities of different departments and personnel. They detail job responsibilities for different members of the Incident Command Team listed in job action sheets. Furthermore these documents include phone numbers and emergency contacts at Upstate and throughout the community. Emergency Operations Plans guide responses by providing the Incident Command Team with the information they need to make effective decisions during emergency situations.
