How to Register to Vote in NY State

Option 1. Register in Person

• Register in person at your County Board of Elections or at any New York State Agency-Based voter registration center

Option 2. Fill out a Voter Registration Form

You can obtain the form from any of the following sources:

• The New York State Board of Elections website
• Call 1-800-For-Vote to request a form
• The Office of Campus Activities at SUNY Upstate Medical University, Campus Activities Buidling, Office of Campus Activities, suite 202
