How to Register to Vote in NY State
Option 1. Register in Person
- Register in person at your County Board of Elections or at any New York State Agency-Based voter registration center
Option 2. Fill out a Voter Registration Form
You can obtain the form from any of the following sources:
- The New York State Board of Elections website
- Call 1-800-For-Vote to request a form
- The Office of Campus Activities at SUNY Upstate Medical University, Campus Activities Buidling, Office of Campus Activities, suite 202
Option 3. Download a Voter Registration Form, Print, and Mail
Option 4. Download an Absentee Ballot Form, Print, and Mail
