Student Data Systems

The Student Data Systems Office (SDS) maintains vendor supplied enterprise data systems, vendor supplied solution applications, as well as in-house builds of information management solutions. The Student Data Systems Office works with various departments in the development of Business Practices to leverage and utilize available data management tools and to recognize opportunities for new uses of data and new interfaces with the enterprise data systems.

Incoming Student Accounts

All incoming students have a MyUpstate account. Using their MyUpstate account, students submit a badge photo which is the first step in the creation of their Network accounts which include access to: Outlook, Blackboard, Epic, the library system, and Upstate’s wifi. SDS works with Campus Activities to ensure Incoming Students complete their required tasks (Health Clearance, Accounts Creation, etc.) for successful Onboarding to the Upstate Community.

Current Students MyUpstate

SDS maintains the current students MyUpstate account which is used by current students to pay bills, review final grades, submit course and teacher evaluations, review and accept financial aid, as well as other university business requirements. Students also find notifications on required tasks such as the Health Office annual physical and PPD tests.
