Medical Imaging Science/Radiography, BS: Prerequisites
SUNY Upstate is an upper-division transfer college specializing in health care careers. Students applying to our bachelors’ programs take the prerequisite courses (minimum 56 semester hours) at another college and then complete their junior and senior years of the bachelor's degree at Upstate for their program of study.
This program is intended for individuals with no previous education in medical imaging.
Pre-admissions Requirements
Before applying, applicants are encouraged to review the prerequisite courses for their intended program of study. Pre-admission requirements for the Medical Imaging Science/Radiography, BS program include:
- A minimum of 56 semester hours of prerequisite courses
- Minimum grade for transfer is a "C"
