MedPrep Academic Enhancement MS in Medical Technology

SUNY Upstate Medical University College of Health Professions offers a one-year Master's Degree program in Medical Technology. This Master's Degree program helps prepare students applying to medical school.

Med Prep is a rigorous one-year program that gives students the opportunity to enhance their academics while applying to medical school. Graduates of this program earn a Master of Science degree, and many will receive an admissions interview with SUNY Upstate’s Norton College of Medicine.​

Degree Outcomes

Graduates will receive a Master of Science in Medical Technology upon completion of the Med Prep Academic Enhancement in Medical Technology program.

Opportunities

The Med Prep Master of Science Degree in Medical Technology allow students to strengthen and cultivate their academic, clinical and analytical skills in preparation for medical school. The program specifically helps students to strengthen their scientific background. Students will be offered advising sessions with the College of Medicine Admissions counselors, as well as academic support, tutoring, and peer mentoring from medical students.
