Respiratory Therapy at the Binghamton Campus
Students at the Distance Learning site will be connected by video conferencing to the classroom on the main campus and will complete first-year courses at the Clinical Campus. All video-conferenced classes will allow students to see and interact with the instructor and with Syracuse campus students throughout the class.
Laboratory and clinical learning activities will take place in Binghamton-area hospitals. During the summer semester and the second year, students will complete some courses through video conferencing, some courses online, and some blended courses. Blended courses will require some attendance at the Syracuse campus (e.g. for course introduction, final exams or project presentations) with most of the learning activities taking place online.
Most summer and second-year clinical activities will take place in Binghamton area hospitals, while some may require travel to other sites for specialty clinical areas not available in Binghamton. The program accepts up to eight students each year at the Distance Learning site on the Binghamton Clinical Campus.
