Current Students
The College of Health Professions actively promotes diversity among its student body by recruiting students from underrepresented populations and regions.
Students come to the College of Health Professions from a wide variety of backgrounds, different stages of life, and different locations. Many transfer from local community colleges, while others travel from as far away as Asia or South America.
Most students agree that the college’s strong sense of community provides a welcoming and nurturing environment, which quickly feels like a second home. The college’s staff and faculty are dedicated to providing one-on-one support to ensure student success.

From the moment I interviewed, I really did feel that sense of community. I knew if I came to Upstate, I would have some level of support. I definitely feel like I made the right choice. Since I’ve been here, just from my professors, my directors, even from my peers, there’s been an immense amount of support.
