College of Health Professions - Admissions

The College of Health Professions at SUNY Upstate Medical University prepares students for eight exciting healthcare careers. Skilled professionals in these career fields are in great demand.

Once we receive your completed application, our staff will begin a comprehensive review. We do so without regard to sex, sexual orientation, race, color, creed, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, or marital status.

When reviewing applicants, we look at the whole person, not just their GPA or test scores. In doing so, we evaluate how an applicant will contribute to our academic community. We consider factors such as the student's coursework, interests, talents, background, and personality. With a holistic perspective, we take time to get to know applicants as people, not as numbers.
