In this site, you will find resources to help you use the Cascade Content Management System (CMS) to create and maintain your Web content. Information is presented in modules, each addressing a specific topic. The list of training modules appears in the left navigation bar.

Although the modules may be viewed in their suggested order to provide basic training on the functions of the Cascade CMS, new users of Cascade should receive training from someone in the Web Support team. The modules can also be used as a refresher on how to perform a specific function.

  • Getting Started - The training modules in the "Getting Started" section address the basic functions of Cascade, including how to log into Cascade, use your workspace, locate a page you wish to work on, save content and publish content to the Web server. Additional functions such as uploading documents and images, deleting files and recovering deleted files using the Recycle Bin are also covered in this section.
  • Advanced Editing - The "Advanced Editing" section covers topics such as editing slideshows, adding content blocks, intro text, and pull quotes among others.
  • Design Standards - The original templates used in the CMS and tips for good webpage design.
  • Web Publishing Policies - outline of our policies in Campus Web Technology.
