Thomas Wilmer Dewing (1851-1938) was an American painter born in Boston, Massachussetts that worked at the turn of the 20th century. Trained in Paris, he taught at the Art Students League of New York and was a founding member of the Ten American Paitners A collection of his works is currently housed at The Freer Gallery of Art at the Smithsonian Institution.
