Northeast Regional Yeast (NERY) Meeting
The Northeast Regional Yeast (NERY) Meeting has been held every 1-2 years for over 25 years. It gathers approximately 100 researchers annually who use yeast as a model system for their research, and it is attended by researchers from various universities in New York State and the surrounding areas, including Pennsylvania, Ontario, and New England. This year, it will take place in Syracuse from noon on June 12 to 1 PM on June 13 at LeMoyne College, with co-organizers Patty Kane from the Upstate BMB department and James Arnone from the LeMoyne Biology department.
The meeting will feature talks from graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and principal investigators, along with poster presentations.
