Vacation and Meeting Day Allowances
- 20 paid vacation/sick days per year
- As per the American Board of Anesthesiology, residents may take a total of 60 vacation/sick days through their clinical residency (which does not include their preliminary year).
- 5 paid meeting days per year

Continuing Medical Education Support
The Anesthesia Resident Continuing Medical Education Support throughout residency training is approximately $6,000/resident and includes:
- Education/Book Allowance (distributed each year of residency):
- CA1 - $300
- CA2 - $600
- CA3 - $1000
- All CA-1 residents are provided with the following textbooks/e-books in addition to their education/book allowance:
- Clinical Anesthesia (Barash)
- Rotation specific lending library
- TrueLearn
