Simulation Center

At the center of Upstate Medical Universities academic campus, the new Simulation Center serves the educational and training needs of Upstate Medical University and its healthcare professionals.

The Upstate Medical University Simulation Center (Center) is part of a coordinated network of simulation resources that, together, provide realistic intra and inter professional experiential learning for Upstate Medical University.   With low and high-fidelity task trainers and manikins the Center is able to support the diverse learning and training needs of Upstate Medical University key areas including (but not limited to):  Family Medicine, Surgery, Medicine, Pediatrics, Neurology, Anesthesiology, Nursing, Psychiatry, Emergency Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, OB/GYN, and other Allied Health Professionals. 

With approximately 8600 square feet, the Center offers specialized rooms for skills and task training, immersive patient care simulation, and debriefing simulated sessions.
