Modern Trends in Child Psychiatry: Book Presentation

The first lecture will include the presentation and discussion of a current patient in Dr. Gavett's care as well as brief reviews of relevant topics illustrated by the case. These topics will include the associaton of pervasive developmental disorders with psychosis, affective disorders and anxiety disorders; childhood onset schizophrenia and rates on non-auditory hallucinations; and medication management.
The second lecture will include the Presentation of a Book "Modern trends in child psychiatry" published in February 2012 by NeuroNews publishing house (Ukraine). This book has been considered to be used as a textbook in Child Psychiatry for Ukrainian medical schools. It consists of interviews and lectures give by several Child Psychiatrists from Ukrain, USA, Italy, and Lithuanian.
