EMDR: What is it? Does it work? How does it work?

EMDR: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a phase-based, trauma-focused therapy that is very effective in treating bad reactions to trauma and to other adverse life experiences. The research and explanatory theories will be reviewed. Examples of therapeutic work will be presented.
