Teen Volunteer Information
Applications for the 2019 Summer Teen Program will be made available from March 15th until March 22nd at 4pm.
Please note, openings are significantly limited this summer; therefore, we will utilize a lottery system from applicants who meet the criteria.

Teens will volunteer one full day or two half days the same each week. Vacation plans should be disclosed on the application and teens should not miss more than 2 weeks of the program.

Community Campus - Wednesday, June 26th
Downtown Campus - Thursday, June 27th
*All efforts should be made to attend the orientation session at the campus in which you are placed. Campus preference will be considered, but not guaranteed.
If I apply, am I automatically accepted? We are proud of our growing teen program, but that means there are limited positions available. We do our best to match as many teens with as many volunteer positions as possible, but due to the high number of applicants, it is not possible to find a match for everyone. We do not offer opportunities on the weekends for teens.
What are you looking for? Our teen volunteers must be interested and enthusiastic about what they are doing. We emphasize independence and ask that the teen fill out their own application. Parents and family, please know, if we trust them in our hospital working independently, we expect them to be the one to communicate with us.
