Hematology/Oncology Inpatient Nursing at University Hospital

The 29-bed adult inpatient unit has nearly 100 annual admissions primarily treating breast cancer, Hodgkin's disease, leukemia, lymphoma, lung cancer, multiple myeloma, testicular carcinoma, solid tumors, hemophilia, sickle cell anemia, and peripheral blood stem cell transplant patients.

Bone MarrowTransplant Program

The Bone Marrow Transplant Program, the first in central New York, opened in 1992. Its major objective is to provide optimal medical and nursing care for all patients undergoing cytoreduction and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
