Clincal Educators Shared Governance

Purpose

The Purpose of the Clinical Educator Shared Governance Team is to oversee and direct the implementation of the nursing education including orientation, continuing education programs/professional development and regulatory educational requirements.

The focus includes

• assure appropriate educational components/content is incorporated, utilizing suitable educational framework for programs
• collaborate with clinical experts in developing educational content
• identify educational methodology for programs
• evaluate program content
• establish a process for documentation of completed education
