Special Care for Special Cases

Breast cancer screening is particularly important for high-risk women who have one or more close family members with a history of breast cancer or who have a personal history of the disease. The Breast Care Center specializes in evaluating and monitoring high-risk women and also women with "lumpy" or fibrocystic breasts who are difficult to evaluate.

While the overwhelming majority of breast cancer cases occur in women, the Breast Care Center also evaluates and treats men.
