Nutritional Support

Nutrition is a major concern for patients who are faced with issues related to proper diets, weight loss, weight gain and changes in appetite and taste due to radiation therapy. Radiation Oncology nurses provide nutritional support for patients facing these issues including how and what to eat while under treatment. When additional counseling is necessary a referral to an Oncology Nutritionist can be made.
