Tone Management &
Mobility Program

Tone Management & Mobility Program is part of the comprehensive rehabilitation services offered in the Department of PM&R to treat individuals with cerebral palsy and spasticity secondary to spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis and stroke.

A wide variety of spasticity management strategies are used to help patients achieve their goal of improved function.

Treatment strategies may include:

• Botox
• Oral medications
• Interthecal drug delivery
• Serial casting
• Electrical stimulation
• Bracing and physical therapy
