The Patient Relations Department at University Hospital personally responds to patient and family concerns and facilitates communication between patients, family members, and the patient's caregivers. We recognize that being in the hospital may be a confusing and sometimes unsettling experience. Whether you're a patient or a visitor, we would like to make your stay at University Hospital as comfortable as possible.
Concerns
We encourage you to contact us if you have any questions or concerns regarding patient care and treatment of you or a loved one. If you are still dissatisfied, you can call our Patient Relations Department at 315 464-5597 to request a Grievance Committee review of your concerns. Following any Grievance Committee's review, a written response would then be sent to you containing the final determinations and findings of the Grievance Committee.

Assistance
If you or a family member needs assistance during your hospitalization, please call the Patient Relations Department at 315 464-5597. You can also voice any concerns you might have to nurses, ambassadors, or any other hospital staff member. The Patient Relations staff is also available to assist patients, family members and friends with non-medical questions or concerns related to outpatient visits or hospital stays.
