Team Approach to Care and Treatment
The Women's Heart Center at University Hospital brings the talents of multiple medical and nursing professionals to treat the unique health concerns of women with heart disease. Well-known for its outstanding results in caring for the highest-risk cardiac patients, University Hospital's cardiovascular program, and specifically its Women's Heart Program, provides multidisciplinary cardiac services in a team approach.
The Center covers a spectrum of services including:
- preventive cardiology
- interventional cardiology
- electro-physiology
- heart failure treatment
- complex open-heart surgery.
It is the only hospital offering minimally invasive surgery for valve repair and certain coronary artery bypass procedures.
Our multidisciplinary team includes:
