As part of SUNY Upstate Medical University, the only academic medical center in the area, the Women's Heart Center can also provide patients with options they cannot find elsewhere locally. Included are promising clinical trials that study the effectiveness of new pharmaceutical treatments and diagnostic techniques to combat or control heart disease.
