Walk From Obesity 2010

The CNY Bariatric Surgery Center at Upstate sponsored the first Syracuse Walk From Obesity to raise awareness of the disease of obesity, childhood obesity and morbid obesity. 90 participants raised $6,000. Funds raised benefit the American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery Foundation and the Obesity Action Coalition's mission of prevention, research, education and advocacy.
