AIDS Walk 2011
Team Upstate was the largest team at the 19th Annual AIDS Walk/Run in June. The event raised over $186,000 for prevention programs and to support basic needs of people living with HIV/AIDS.

Race for the Cure 2011
Team Upstate raised over $5,000 at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in May to support breast cancer education, treatment and research.

27 Upstate volunteers served 150 meals to those in need at the Samaritan Center in Syracuse in May.

595 people registered for Team Upstate at the Heart Walk, raising more than $30,600 for the American Heart Association in April.

Vera House White Ribbon Campaign 2011
Upstate raised more than $2,000 for the Vera House White Ribbon Campaign. President David Smith was honorary chair of the event to raise awareness of domestic & sexual abuse.

Bowling Benefit for Cancer Center 2011
Diane Cullinan and Doug Rosenthal from IMT Hospital Info Systems organized a bowling event in March to benefit the new Upstate Cancer Center. A large crowd of supporters cheered on 7 Upstate teams, raising a total of $115.

Many Upstate employees participated in National Wear Red Day in Feb. to raise awareness of heart disease in women.

Upstate Gala 2010
Hundreds of people attended the Upstate Gala in December, raising almost $200,000 (net) to support the new Upstate Cancer Center and the Upstate Cancer Research Institute.

Upstate students and employees participated in the March for Babies in October, and raised more than $4,285 for the March of Dimes.
