Team captains gathered in February for the 2010 Heart Walk kickoff event. They will begin recruiting Upstate students and employees, friends and families to join Team Upstate at the walk on April 17.

More than $10,000 was raised by Team Upstate for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at the Light the Night Walk in September.

Department representatives for Upstate's annual Community Giving Campaign attended the United Way Kickoff Cookoff in September.

Nearly 4,000 people attended the Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital open house in September.
