Medical Follow-up

When your treatment is completed (surgery, and possibly radiation and/or chemotherapy), the staff at the Multi-Disciplinary Breast Cancer Program will schedule you for regular follow-up visits with the surgery, oncology, radiation, and radiology staff, depending on your program of care.

The surgeon and medical oncologist will see you several times a year.  When you are five years out from your original diagnosis, the possibility that your cancer will recur decreases, and you will be scheduled for less frequent visits.
