The AΩA Councillor for our chapter is Dr. Lynn Cleary. In this
capacity she serves as the link between our chapter and the national office,
oversees the smooth operation of the chapter, advises us of past practices and
established traditions and provides continuity in the period when Senior
Members graduate and Junior Members are taking over the operation of the
chapter.
Dr. Cleary, a fellow of the American College of Physicians, holds numerous
leadership posts on national medical and educational panels, including the
Association of American Medical Colleges and the National Board of Medical
Examiners. In addition to her administrative responsibilities, Cleary maintains
a clinical practice as a general internist and has been included in the list of
"Best Doctors in America." In 2004 she was named SUNY Distinguished Teaching
Professor.
Dr. Gregory A. Threatte, Dr. Charles Bergstrom, and Dr.Debra Buchan are new faculty advisors this year. Dr. Threatte is an associate professor of pathology, Dr. Bergstrom is an assistant professor of pediatrics, and Dr. Buchan is an associate professor of medicine.
James Terzian, M.D. is the Binghamton Clinical Campus AΩA Faculty Advisor. Dr. Terzian is a clinical Professor of Pathology.
