Tutoring
AΩA members are active participants of the SUNY Upstate tutoring program. In this way, fourth year medical students gain valuable experience and teaching and renew their knowlege of the basic sciences, while first and second year medical students benefit from the advice and experience of fellow medical students who have already completed the basic science years. Tutoring format consists of either one-on-one style tutoring or small-group sessions.
Members of AΩA have also created a number of
review sheets for specific basic science curriculum topics, which
may be helpful for any student in the basic science years or other tutors
teaching these topics.
