Case Conferences / Review Sessions

The case conferences provide a bridge between the basic science years of medical school and the years spent on clinical rotations. Fourth year medical students present basic science material to second year students in the format of patient cases and/or clinical vignettes with practice exam-type questions. In this way, fourth year students have the opportunity to practice their teaching skills and second year students gain valuable context for the facts that they are vigorously memorizing.
