I truly believe if we pursue the same goals together we will have far greater success than if we chase scattered ambitions. Being focused as an institution will help us press on toward our vision to become the leading regional academic medical center in the nation.

Engaging Excellence is our Strategic Plan. It is our shared direction for Upstate, and our plan for growth.

From the start, Engaging Excellence has been rooted in our mission and driven by the challenge for us all to create the best place possible to learn, work and serve. Thanks to the energy and enthusiasm of hundreds in the Upstate family, we began a campus transformation. We made ourselves stronger; and we are ready to continue to grow.
