Child Care
The SUNY Upstate Medical University is fortunate to have an on-site child care facility for students and employees. The Day Care Center is licensed for 46 children, ages eight weeks to three years, and is located adjacent to the Campus Activities Building. Jacobsen Hall provides a classroom used to accommodate an additional twenty children, ages four and five.
Day Care Center is open all year, excluding six major holidays.

Clark Tower, our On Campus residential tower, is conveniently located next to the Campus Activities Building and close to University Hospital, the library, and all academic buildings.
Off Campus Housing
The Office of Residence Life maintains an off-campus housing list on a limited basis. Please feel free to stop by the office in Clark Tower to review this brief list. Many people who look for housing in the University area choose to look at the Orangehousing.com website.
PLEASE NOTE: Choice of living accommodations off-campus is fundamentally the responsibility of the student and/or his parents. Thus, the SUNY Upstate Medical University does not impose restrictions as to where and under what conditions a student resides.
All Students are strongly encouraged to inspect properties prior to becoming a tenant of said property.
An off-campus housing list is maintained as a convenience to students and staff. SUNY Upstate Medical University employees do NOT inspect, approve/supervise the premises described, and SUNY Upstate Medical University does not become a party to private landlord-tenant matters.
