Ride for Research

To benefit the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund

What

A light-hearted fund raising event, the Ride for Research motorcycle ride (aproximately 60 miles) offers a chance for Central New York motorcycle enthusiasts to show their support for breast cancer research. A highlight of this event is seeing Carol Baldwin in her pink motorcycle helmet. The event will start and end at the Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, 246 West Willow Street, Syracuse.

The ride is expected to bring in more than $80,000, all of which will go to Upstate Medical University to support breast cancer research. Since the 2002, the Baldwin Fund has contributed more than $1.4 million to Upstate researchers.

This year's event will start and end at the Dinosaur Barb-B-Que in downtown Syracuse, and includes breakfast, cookout, bike raffle and t-shirt.
