Lung Cancer Alliance Candlelight Vigil

What

The Upstate Cancer Center and Upstate’s Colleges Against Cancer chapter present the campus' third annual Lung Cancer Vigil to help raise awareness about lung cancer.

Upstate students, faculty and clinicians will host a brief "Shine a Light on Lung Cancer" ceremony near the site of the future Upstate Cancer Center.

Motivational stories, music and words of encouragement by:

• Leslie Kohman MD, Medical Director of the Upstate Cancer Center
• Co-chairs of Upstate’s Colleges Against Cancer chapter
• Spiritual Care at Upstate University Hospital
• Upstate employees
• Family members of a lung cancer patient

The vigil is part of a national campaign by the Lung Cancer Alliance, a not-for-profit organization for people with lung cancer and those at risk. To register and/or contribute to the "Shine a Light" effort, visit www.LungCancerAlliance.org.
